"We have been holidaying in Italy for many years without being able to speak the language. Now that we are retired we were determined to respect our many Italian hosts by learning their language. We felt the best way to achieve that was to have "one-to-one" lessons but where could we go? A quick search on Google revealed your website and we never looked back (apart from revising!). We did not know how we would fare but need not have worried due to your constant adaptation to our concerns and worries. It was so reassuring to know that there were no timescales or pressure to hinder our steady understanding of the beautiful language. We were eager to put our new "skills" into practice and happily went on holiday to Sorrento. We received pleasing acknowledgements from the hotel staff who really appreciated our efforts to talk to them in italian. Normally, because they all spoke good English, they would not expect to be addressed or replied to in Italian. Two of the nicest "accolades" were when the bar manager said 'Come stai?' (how are you friend?) and a particularly quiet waiter who just said 'Ciao' (hello). Both of these incidents showed us that they appreciated our attempts at speaking their language and we knew your lessons had borne fruit. Thank you so much. We feel much more confident with the language and know how much we have learnt during your lessons. We would happily recommend you to anyone.
